Moorepark research shows that cluster dipping in the milking parlour routine can result in dramatic reductions in somatic cell counts & mastitis cases within a herd.
Cluster Dipping & good hygiene within the parlour can help break the cycle of the disease, by putting a barrier between the infection and the next cow which will help prevent cross contamination and reduce the risk of spreading the disease through the herd.
It can also be used in the final rinse of the milking machine and as a general disinfection of surfaces.
