Desosan Mastocide is a post-milking barrier teat dip with a highly viscous formula and provides exceptional retention on the teat to maximise the time the biocide is in contact with the skin. It is based on the tried and trusted and well established chlorhexidine digluconate biocide and lactic acid to provide comprehensive and rapid bacterial kill and meets the requirements of EN1656.

To promote outstanding teat condition; Mastocide contains a triple action combination of conditioners and moisturisers minimising cracks and crevices where bacteria can hide and breed. The inclusion of allantoin specifically helps combat weather challenges to teat condition by healing sun and wind burn teats. Mastocide is the first teat dip in the UK to contain Eucalyptus oil. , it will discourage flies and fly nuisance and encourages a calming atmosphere at milking.

To help ensure thorough teat disinfection, Mastocide has a distinctive blue/purple appearance so it is easy to check that all teats have been effectively covered.
